Like the Queen, we’re getting a lot of practice in thinking and achieving impossible things here at ArtWavEs. Our intent to create peace in the world by making art that makes a difference may seem naïve.

In our ten years of service, our commitment to give every child a chance to grow up in a world of non-violence -- with their hearts open, bodies strong, and creative spirits shining -- has grown stronger.

What if all children were equipped with the intellectual, social, and emotional tools they need to successfully navigate life?

And what if you—as a parent, educator, counselor, or administrator—could also feel centered, confident, and emotionally resourced as you hold space for your children and students to thrive?

Starting ArtWavEs as Feed the Children more than a decade ago, we saw that every time another child connected with their dreams of peace, painted them on silk, and were nourished holistically in a circle of kindness, they glowed with joy and self-respect in their hearts. They felt awe. And someone would say, “Awesome!” or “Wow!”

Sharing that awe and the sense of empowerment that comes from painting their wishes and dreams on silk, using their paintbrushes like magic wands, has sparked a love revolution on Hawaii Island and beyond.

Our Mission

Pacific ArtWavEs engages the minds, muscles and imaginations of children and the grown-ups who care about them by fostering artistic, cultural and empowerment skills

You aren’t just buying a product. You are participating in a positive future for kids who have may have no other way to mobilize their resources to earn a good living. You are creating ongoing ArtWavEs training programs that give kids and families a chance to thrive by doing something they are passionate about.
